What was difficult, and how I solved it

Replacing an outdated system
Challenge
The old website no longer represented a company that had grown into a modern group active worldwide.
Solution
I developed a custom theme from scratch instead of adapting a stock template, so the site could follow the brand exactly.
Room to grow
Challenge
The site needed functionality beyond pages and text, without turning the theme into a one-off that is hard to update.
Solution
Additional features were added as separate plugins, and the frontend code was written in TypeScript, which keeps the code base easier to maintain.
